Baton Rouge and New Orleans Classroom Training Center Leases Extended
Online PR News – 02-August-2010 – – Baton Rouge, Louisiana (LA) — ONLC Training Centers has renewed its commitment to residents of Louisiana’s capitol city by extending the lease for its training facility in Baton Rouge. ONLC provides state agencies and private companies with local classroom-based IT training.
“Our Louisiana sites in Baton Rouge and New Orleans provide a local option for classroom training. Many times individuals can’t find traditional training nearby and they don’t have any money in the budget for travel” stated ONLC Training Centers’ CEO, Andy Williamson. “With our remote training delivered to our classroom facilities, they now have another option,” he continued.
ONLC’s Louisiana locations in Baton Rouge and New Orleans offer live, instructor-led classroom training in its Remote Classroom Instruction (RCI) format. With RCI classes, the company is also able to connect students from multiple training facilities into a single event. “By combining enrollments, we increase our enrollment levels and, as a result, we cancel fewer classes.
With RCI we have the lowest class cancellation rate in the industry. We are now bringing that level of certainty to individuals registering for our classes in Louisiana,” stated Williamson.
ONLC reports that its most popular technical classes in Baton
Rouge are related to Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 7, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Exchange as well as security training (Security +). From and end-user perspective, in addition to the obvious Microsoft Office classes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) the company is also seeing strong demand for the Adobe CS4 Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, In-Design, Flash and Fireworks.)
“We are preparing for a huge wave of training related to the new releases of Exchange 2010, SharePoint 2010, and Office 2010. Also, the request for Windows 7 are very strong in our area and we expect that to continue into next year as companies in the region upgrade their desktop operating system,” stated Williamson.
