The Highlight of the Conference was a panel discussion on ‘Applying Cricket to Boardroom decisions’ with powerful leaders having expertise in cricket and management, sharing their experiences over the years besides providing an enriching discussion as well. The participants were provided with valuable insights by the panelists who presented lessons from cricket that could be gainfully applied for boardroom decisions, through their knowledge gathered over different market conditions, employee behavior and economic time-periods.
The event was attended by over 250 professionals and management students from across the state. Javagal Srinath, T.K. Mohandas Pai, S Giridhar, V.J. Raghunath and Dev Prasad, who were part of the panel discussion, urged the participants to widen their horizons to new perspectives and practices that have been deployed in the game of cricket and apply it bring about effective outcomes.
