Dede Allure joins forces with JCT Television to honor New Haven, CT with her latest couture fashions.
Online PR News – 01-August-2014 – New Haven, CT – Dede Allure, the plus size fashion designer known as the "Curvy Coco Chanel" for her classic, timeless designs that never go out of style, is embarking on a 5-city fashion tour, granting audiences a sneak peek into her latest collection.
Dede Allure recently made history as the very first plus size designer to ever show in L.A. Style Week, and now she's hitting the road again to spread the plus sized love, starting in New Haven, CT, honoring the recipients of the annual JMG (JCT Multimedia Global) awards, such as hip hop recording artist, "Kentucky Boy" of alternative Southern rap group Nappy Roots.
As one of the very first fit models for Lane Bryant, Dede saw huge gaps in the plus size fashion industry and began to fill those voids by including unique features, such as built-in undergarments, in many of her designs. Dede Allure Plus Size Fashion and Accessories, including her signature black diamond jewelry, are manufactured to withstand the test of both time and the ever-evolving fashion industry by being manufactured with the highest standards. "I absolutely refused to compromise on my standards." Dede states vehemently. "I literally spent an entire year searching the globe to find manufacturers that could live up to my expectations. If a woman is going to have these clothes for 20 years, they had better last for 20 years!"
Poppa T, founder of JCT TV and Multimedia, saw Dede's passion and commitment to quality fashion and was determined to adopt Dede Allure into the JCT family. "Dede was recommended to me by TV personality Cher Rue and, after seeing her brand in a recent runway show, I believe Dede is definitely worthy of my attention!"
