US companies boycott all relations to Israeli companies due to the current conflict in the Gaza Strip.
Online PR News – 25-July-2014 – Newport Beach, CA – (Newport Beach, CA)- July 25th, 2014 – Amidst escalating conflict in the Gaza strip and increasing loss of civilian lives in the region, Nogalis Inc., a Southern California IT firm, today publicly announced its boycott of any Israeli companies and products until the end of violence in the region. In a comment, a Nogalis representative said: “Rather than this being a political issue, this decision is purely based on abhorrent human rights abuses performed by the Israeli Government and its military forces. While both sides have seen casualties, an unprecedented number of innocent civilians (700+), many of whom are children younger than 12 years old, have either suffered fatal casualties or been injured since Israel began its ground assault on the region. Additionally, approximately 300,000 of Gaza’s inhabitants have no access to medical care due to the Israeli operations. Our hope is this situation will be resolved with a cease-fire in order to avoid further loss of life, whether they are Israeli, or Palestinian.” Nogalis is calling on other corporations to join their cause in confronting this social injustice by refusing to conduct business with major Israeli corporations and corporations with heavy investment in Israel.
“As a company, we generally do not take a political stance,” said Nogalis CEO Tan Rezaei. “But as Dr. King said: ‘Make a career of humanity, commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in’. We believe this is how we can make a difference. We are divesting from all Israeli businesses which in our case includes several vendors and over a dozen clients in the software, hardware, banking, insurance, and pharmaceutical industries.” Nogalis joins a national coalition of more than 400 groups working to end U.S. support for Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.
