Online PR News – 23-July-2014 – Piketon, OH – John 'Fred' Foster, candidate for Commissioner in Pike County, Ohio, announces a new campaign website at www.votefostercommissioner.com.
"Pike County has been very good to me and my family," said Foster. "Coming from a poor background, I worked hard to achieve a successful career. I want to work to ensure that all residents of Pike County have the same opportunities to work hard, prosper, and improve their quality of life."
The incumbent Commissioner, Teddy West, is retiring. Foster's challenger, Emma Ruth Slone, ran for the office in the last contested election on the Republican ticket and will face Foster in the November General Election. The Democratic Party has endorsed Foster as their candidate.
Foster adds, "Many of our citizens have lost their jobs and are either under-employed, unemployed or were forced to go elsewhere to go to work.
