Online PR News – 09-September-2022 – Toronto, ON – The 8th installment of the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance presented by Porsche will take to the shores of Georgian Bay this September, unveiling one of the most impressive collections of vintage automobiles on display in Canada. From September 16th to 18th Cobble Beach Golf Resort Community will be turned into an automotive showcase like no other, including vendors, artists, a cars, planes and coffee showcase, a participants’ tour, live auction, raffle and an awards ceremony finale to wrap it all up.

This is more than just an opportunity to view some of the rarest, most pristine vehicles in North America. Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance presented by Porsche also offers two (2) free automotive seminars on Saturday, September 17th to the general public. While the seminars are free to attend, we do ask that you register in advance on our website.

The first seminar will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be presented by Porsche Canada. “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur: You Dream It. We Build It.” will provide attendees with an in-depth look into their Exclusive Manufaktur program – for the Porsche driver looking to make their vehicle uniquely theirs. Covering topics such as the Sonderwunsch – “Special Wishes” – program and Paint to Sample, there is sure to be something of interest for both modern and classic enthusiasts alike.

The second seminar, beginning at 3:15 p.m., is titled “So You Think You Know Paint?”. Presented by paint expert John Ballard, participants will learn why metamerism and altoona matter. John has been involved as a paint, colour matching and application chemist for over 55 years and has served as a paint consultant for two GM factory assembly plants. While John’s presentation will focus on Corvettes, there are lessons to be learned for all automotive types. Judging criteria focusing on paint will also be explained.
