The Feels proudly announces their participation in GiveBIG 2022 event to raise funds for youth arts education and emerging artist support initiative.
Online PR News – 20-April-2022 – Seattle, WA – Foundation for creatives of color, The Feels, proudly announces their participation in Washington Gives’ annual giving event to raise funds for youth arts education (Art Together) and emerging artist support initiative (Celebrate Art/sts).
Underserved communities have an immersive, rich history of arts and culture within our city and surrounding areas. Even as vital and integral as these pieces are to the human experience there is a continuously growing wealth and access gap between artist communities and the culture they create. The greater public benefits from this creativity, but yet these emerging artists struggle to maintain careers, let alone build wealth and infrastructure for the next generations of youth looking to define new paths of creativity and generate their own income potential as entrepreneurs and business owners.

“Our vision is a world where creatives of color are well represented and have the resources and support they need to achieve their goals.” Says one of the foundation’s directors. “We strive to provide opportunities and empower achievement.”
