Online PR News – 15-April-2022 – Columbia, Maryland – CybernetIQ today announced that Matt Barker will be joining CybernetIQ as Vice President of Global Sales, effective April 11th, 2022.

Matt Barker joins CybernetIQ from Pythian, where he was Managing Director of Strategic Accounts. Barker brings over 20 years of experience in sales and growth to CybernetIQ, where he will expand global growth and drive revenue operations.

Additionally, Barker’s experiences that will benefit CybernetIQ moving forward include:

- Leading a sales team that understands the current global cybersecurity challenges faced by everyone doing business in our current economic climate
- Ensuring a strong and vibrant technology culture that focuses on the customers' need of understanding their cybersecurity situation, the economic drivers of their resilience posture, and how to bridge the gaps between the team, tradecraft, and technologies in use.
- Providing exceptional customer success by hearing the goals of the customer and creating bespoke offerings that factor in the economic, corporate, and technological limitations that affect each layer of the business.

“I'm beyond excited to join forces with the team at CybernetIQ.” says Barker. “This is a special opportunity to bring military-grade Attack Surface Analysis to the commercial market while continuing to deliver on our commitments to our military and security clients in the US and Canada. There is no product like CLAW in the market that will give C- levels and security leads the level of confidence they need to make sense of their overall security posture and situation, not to mention leveling up their existing teams from zero to hero. This is a killer product.”

“It’s important to grow with people that both understand the mission and are leaders in their domain.” says Joe Cummins, Founder and CEO at CybernetIQ. “Matt represents both someone that people know and trust, as well as someone that is well versed in the cybersecurity domain and feels the pain that many of our current customers experience firsthand with their current limitations. With that in mind, Matt is a huge asset to the team and will be working to grow and expand our current customer base as we help change the way teams see their cybersecurity.”
