Online PR News – 09-March-2022 – Valencia, Spain – Internxt, the secure cloud storage service built for Web3, announced the launch of a free file virus scanner. Keeping in line with its zero-trust philosophy, Internxt has now released a web-based resource capable of identifying malware in various types of files.
Internxt’s new virus scanner is a free web-based tool that scans all manner of files such as PDF, DOC, JPG, XLS, and many more. Virtually any file can be scanned by dragging and dropping the chosen file into the box located on the resource’s webpage. The service will quickly analyze the file and notify the user of any detected viruses.
“Our goal at Internxt is to create a safer online experience, not just for our users, but for everyone on the web,” says Internxt’s CEO, Fran Villalba Segarra. “We are working to build a better internet by putting users and their privacy first in everything we do. Our new free virus scanner was the next logical step in creating an ecosystem that returns control of personal data back to users. We want everyone to have access to the tools they need to protect their privacy and digital well-being.”
Internxt was founded in 2020 as a decentralized and progressive alternative to traditional cloud storage services provided by Big Tech. The virus scanner joins Internxt’s growing list of open-source services such as Drive, Photos, Token, and Send.
Encrypt, store, and share personal or business files in total privacy. Internxt is an open-source, blockchain-based cloud storage service providing safe, secure, and GDPR-compliant digital storage advocating for user privacy rights.
