This new collection of original paintings celebrate American bird life and symbolize the diversity, importance and fragility of life.
Online PR News – 05-November-2021 – Kent, UK – Fine Artist Patricia J Valenti launches her first ‘American Birds’ collection of original paintings this week. These four small original oil paintings on stretched canvas are inspired by nature and the diverse world around us. “These paintings celebrate American bird life and how birds bring cultures together, reflecting the diversity among us and of all life,” said Patricia.
The American Birds collection is the latest addition to Patricia’s ‘Little Bird’ series. Each of the ‘Little Bird’ series of paintings is designed with a unique dead wood and peeling paint backdrop set behind the fragility of a living bird. “With climate change and accelerating habitat and biodiversity loss, bird and animal life is something that should be treasured. These small bird paintings symbolize the importance of life - if we do not care for living creatures, they will erode like the dead wood door these birds are painted against,” said Patricia.
The American Birds painting collection features a Blue Jay, a male Northern Cardinal, a male American Goldfinch, and a male broad-tailed fledgling hummingbird. Each is painted on small, square stretched canvas 8 x 8 inches, in bright, beautiful, quality pigments. Three of the paintings are decorated with 24 karat gold leaf. The new collection of original bird paintings launches today and is available for purchase through the Patricia J Valenti Art website.
