This International Conference is aimed to build a matching narrative for India’s Coal Production target of 1 Billion Tons and its Logistical challenges.

Kolkata is all set to host this key conference on 3 December 2021 as part of the Government's One Billion Tons Coal production target. Coal Producers, Policymakers, Regulators, Coal & Mining industry leaders, Experts, and Service providers from across India are going to be a part of the this international event.

Shri Pralhad Joshi, Minister of Coal & Mines, Dr. Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary (Coal) and Shri Pramod Agarwal, Chairman, Coal India Ltd. has been invited to grace this unique Conference as a Chief Guest and Guests of Honour.

Speaking about this International Conference COAL LOG INDIA 2021, Shri U Kumar, Former Chairman cum Managing Director (South Eastern Coalfields Ltd.), Executive President – ICF & Advisor Essel Mining, said that the Conference with the theme “One Billion Tons – Logistical Challenges” aims at setting out the challenges inherent in fast production build- up from the current level of about 700 Million tons to 1000 Million tons and the bigger challenge in upgrading the existing infrastructure and planning and constructing new facilities for moving this Coal.

This event will be an exciting amalgam of a high caliber Conference Programme, New age logistics and supply chain solutions on display, recognizing the innovative products and services, new Logistics and the State-of-the-art and yet-to- be tried new Coal Transport Solutions.

One full day packed event has been planned to bring together multiple stakeholders-Mining Companies, Captive Commercial Coal Block Operators, Bulk Coal Consumers, Coal Carriers by Road, Sea, Rail etc., State Mining and Mineral Departments, State Electricity Generation and Distribution Companies, Solution providers and Regulators of Coal Industry.
