Intel GAR Human Resources team has once again made Human Resources Director Asia's Innovative HR Teams list
Online PR News – 13-September-2021 – Singapore – For a second consecutive year, Intel GAR Human Resources has made Human Resources Director Asia’s Innovative HR Teams list. The Innovative HR Teams 2021 report recognises teams that are breaking boundaries to move the HR industry forward in what has been a tumultuous year — whether it’s by taking a progressive approach to recruitment, introducing new technology or rolling out a groundbreaking reward and recognition strategy.
Nominations for the Innovative HR Teams 2021 were accepted between 24 May and 18 June 2021. Readers were invited to nominate HR teams that were agile, bold and forward-thinking in their people strategies. Nominators were encouraged to focus on a broad range of areas, including talent management, diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, and HR technology. Entries were expected to largely focus on initiatives introduced and results achieved in 2020.
The Intel Greater Asia Region (GAR) HR organization supports over 30 locations and an employee base of more than 40,000 employees across design and engineering, sales and marketing teams, production and manufacturing sites and global shared service centres for multiple functions. The HR team, which consists of around 425 employees, is based in India, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea and Japan. In each country, the HR team partners closely with the business organizations on key business imperatives and builds it into the HR objectives. Given the size and complexity of the region, the imperatives could be vastly different – from growth of engineering in India to scaling up production facilities in Vietnam to reinforcing sales excellence in China.
Due to its accomplishments, Intel GAR HR has won HRD Asia’s Employer of Choice Award and Innovative HR Team of the Year Award. The team continues to drive innovation in talent attraction, employee engagement, culture transformation and business development. The team strives to scale its innovations across the globe with the vision of GAR 2 the World.
