Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas Hosts Annual Bandana Ball

Nonprofit Hosts At-home Fundraiser with Dinner, Cocktails,
Live Auction, Local DJ and More

Online PR News – 02-September-2021 – AUSTIN, Texas – Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX) is hosting its 32nd annual Bandana Ball fundraiser from home this year on Friday, September 17 at 7 p.m. to support children and their families that stay at the local Ronald McDonald House.

Central Texans can support their local RMHC CTX with the night to remember, including signature cocktails, a delicious meal from Austin Catering, music from local artist DJ Gatsby, and a spirited live auction via Zoom. In addition, there will be a silent auction in which anyone can participate remotely, including those who do not register for the official event.

Participants will be able to pick up their special party box and meal at Austin Catering in North Central Austin off Burnet road, with premium sponsors receiving event package deliveries at their homes. Guests can enjoy decorating their space and setting up their three-course meal in preparation for the event to begin at 7 p.m. from the comfort of their homes.

"Our Bandana Ball fundraiser is always one of my favorite events of the year,” said Carolyn Schwarz, chief executive officer of RMHC CTX. “This year, not only do we get to enjoy each other’s company from home with incredible food, music and auctions, but we get to give back in such a big way to Central Texans. Families should be as close as possible to their child during this very scary time in their lives, and it’s an honor to make that possible with generous donations from events like these."
Different levels of sponsorship participation include:
Party for two: $500, comes with two party boxes
Party for 10: $1,500, comes with 10 party boxes
Presenting Sponsor: $40,000, comes with 20 party boxes, exclusive naming opportunity, premium recognition and concierge assistance
Country Store Silent Auction Sponsor: $25,000, comes with 20 party boxes and recognition opportunities and thank you gift for all guests
Texas Treat Sponsor: $10,000, comes with ten party boxes and recognition opportunities
Friend Table Host Sponsorship: $5,000, comes with ten party boxes and recognition opportunities

Stephanie and Byron Jaramillo-Todd are one of the many families who have benefited from RMHC CTX services, and are being featured at this year’s Bandana Ball. Their baby, Mica, was sent to Dell Children’s Medical Center as a newborn this spring to receive critical treatment for a genetic disorder. The Jaramillo-Todd family checked into the Ronald McDonald House the day after she was checked into the hospital and stayed for the month to be as close to their daughter as possible during her treatment.

Supporting RMHC CTX directly benefits the children who usually stay for extended periods of time in the hospital, making it difficult for families to visit from home. The Bandana Ball proceeds will go to housing and feeding these children’s families, so all they have to worry about is caring for their sick or ill child.
