Online PR News – 30-July-2021 – Kota, Rajasthan – The JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted in two shifts; paper 1 is scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The process of seat allocation for all the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes across the country, will be held online.
The previous date for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 was July 3, but considering the condition in the country due to the pandemic the exam got postponed. The exam will now be held on October 3, said Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The students are requested to visit the official website of JEE Advanced, jeeadv.ac.in to know details about registration, eligibility, and exam pattern.
The JEE advanced 2021 will be conducted by IIT-Kharagpur. The exam will be conducted in two shifts; paper 1 is scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and paper 2 is from 14:30 pm to 17:30 pm. Only those students who clear the JEE mains will be allowed to sit for the JEE Advanced.
Understanding the hardships the students are going through due to the pandemic, there are various changes made in the format of JEE Advanced 2021. The students who were able to qualify for the JEE Advanced 2020 but couldn’t appear in the exam due to Covid or any such relevant issue can appear in JEE Advanced 2021 without attempting the JEE Mains.
The Union Education Minister mentioned that the exam will be conducted in the safest environment keeping in mind all the covid- protocols to assure the safety of the aspirants.
This year the NTA decided to conduct the JEE Mains four times to support the student community. The first two sessions were successfully done in the month of February and March. The remaining two sessions i.e. of April and May got rescheduled due to the sudden rise in the Covid cases.
