InfoSiftr, a pioneer in Container Repository technology, announces that it has won an Small Business Innovation contract to harden the US Air Force Registry
Online PR News – 25-July-2021 – Las Vegas, Nevada – InfoSiftr, a pioneer in Container Repository technology data generation and a long-term contributor to the CNCF, today announces that it has won an AFWERX Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract to enhance and harden the US Air Force Registry based on the open-source Harbor distribution. The award extends InfoSiftr's successful partnership with the Air Force.
The Defense Department looks to InfoSiftr to provide an enterprise grade custom repository to the Air Force Software Factory DevOps environment. The InfoSiftr model provides a scalable path for the US Air Force to modernize applications and connect their dependency through an ultra-secure repository. With new zero-trust principles requested by the US government, InfoSiftr brings years of software packaging experience to meet these new stringent requirements of the military.
InfoSiftr provides a critical enhancement to the world’s most popular open source container native repository. Deliverables will include the creation of a military grade version of this platform to enable the trusted pipeline deployments quickly, and at a low cost to the Air Force. With this platform the Air Force will begin to operate one of the most critical parts of the software build process with true Zero trust principles and a path to modernize application across the board with container native technology.
