LIVIN has just been announced as YEPPOON Running Festival’s charity partner.

Online PR News – 22-July-2021 – Yeppoon, QLD – The annual Yeppoon Running Festival is on again, this year happening across 2 days, September 11 and 12, with the Kids running event on Saturday and all major events held on Sunday. For the first time since its beginnings 5 years ago, the event also hosts a full distance Marathon in addition to the regular and popular distances including the Half Marathon, 10km and 5km race.

The Yeppoon Running festival is proud to support LIVIN as the lead charity partner.

“This is our 4th year teaming up with LIVIN. Our beliefs and vision as an event, is to promote a run that involves getting out and participating and staying active, having fun, and taking in some sunshine. Our run promotes health and mental health, and that's what LIVIN is also about. Creating that wholesomeness by physical activity, providing that mental stimulus too,” says Rob Dendle, Yeppoon Race Director.

Casey Lyon’s, LIVIN CEO and Co-Founder, welcomes the alliance and says that it is support from these events, and business, that funds LIVIN's mental health education programs in schools throughout Australia

LIVIN is targeting 500 LIVINWELL's in the next 12 months but can only achieve this with public support.

The Yeppoon Running Festival has been growing year on year, with up to 900 people expected to participate in this year's event. The main race which is the Marathon begins on Sunday 12th September at 5.45am, followed by the half marathon, 10km, and 5km.

The Yeppoon Running Festival is one of the fastest regional races in Queensland and the only Marathon in Central Queensland. The new courses are fast and flat, starting and finishing the heart of Yeppoon allowing runners and supporters to soak in the atmosphere and crowds along the main strip.

“We'd love to see competitors from outside the region stay on to explore the many hidden gems located throughout the Capricorn Coast.” Rob Dendle, Race Director
