CBSE will be announcing the result on 31 July. Class 12 students will be evaluated on the basis of class 10 and class 11 results.
Online PR News – 18-June-2021 – Kota, Rajasthan – CBSE will be announcing the result on 31 July. The board mentioned to the Supreme Court that the class 12 students will be evaluated on the basis of class 10 and class 11 results. Also, the past performance of the students in the 12th exams will be taken into consideration. 60% weightage will be given to the final results of class 10 and class 11 and 40% marks will be allotted on the basis of class 12 pre-boards.
The honorable bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari was hearing the case. The board explained that 30% best-of-three class 10 marks will be taken, 30% marks will be given on the basis of class 11 exams. 100 marks are given to the practical subjects, and the school will be submitting the marks regarding the practical.
The qualifying criteria are now based on three classes, still, if a student fails to clear it, he/she will be put under the “essential repeat” or “compartment” category. In case the student is not ready to accept the result then he/she can appear for the exam whenever the board conducts. Said Attorney General KK to Venugopal.
Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the CBSE canceled the class 12 board exams, the boards assured that it will be putting forth a well-defined manner to assign marks to the students in a limited period.
