Speculating on Dark Matter

New Book Delves into the Mystery with a Science Fiction Twist

Online PR News – 04-May-2021 – PIKEVILLE – Dark Matter: Artificial is a result of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group’s sixth annual anthology contest. A Writer’s Digest Top 101 Site for Writers, the IWSG put out the call for science fiction stories with the theme of “dark matter.” The group’s 20,000+ members responded, and once the administrators selected the top stories, they were forwarded to the official judges—a panel of authors, agents, and publishing industry experts.

This is the second science fiction title from the Insecure Writer’s Support Group. The first was Parallels: Felix Was Here in 2016 from the inaugural anthology contest. Stephanie Espinoza Villamor won the top spot in the contest. Her story, Artificial, received the subtitle and cover art honor. Five of the ten authors have appeared in previous anthologies.
