Shenandoah has maintained this achievement since first receiving the ISO certification in 2020. The International Organization for Standardization is an independent, non-governmental global organization with a membership of 162 national standards bodies. ISO 9001:2015 provides the most current criteria for manufacturing that can be certified. This standard is based on numerous quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and involvement of top management, the process approach, and continuous improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, quality products and services, which in turn provide many business benefits.
