Online PR News – 07-February-2021 – Los Altos, CA – High school-run start-up PetCode launched their campaign on Kickstarter, a crowdfunding platform, on February 5th.
The team of nine high schoolers from across North America started the project in May 2020 to make pet ownership easier for everyone by bringing technology into the process. PetCode’s system consists of two parts: an online portal, available on mobile and web, and a smart QR tag. PetCode has been working for months to create a website and mobile app, order QR tag prototypes, and conduct beta testing of the system.
“[Our entire team] have been working tirelessly for the past year to prepare our product for this launch,” stated Chief Executive Officer Karan Dalal. “We’re delighted to have come this far and even more excited to formally launch our Kickstarter. We’re hoping to reach our goals early in our campaign, and we believe that we can do it!” Chief Operations Officer Arnuv Tandon also weighed in on the launch, saying, “We’re planning to use this money to cover some start-up expenses, formally market PetCode, and secure a deal with a manufacturer.”
