IRCC Issued 5,000 Invitations in the Latest Express Entry Draw with CRS Cut-off of 468

IRCC has dropped the CRS score in the latest Express Entry draw and invited 5,000 candidates again to apply for Canada PR.

Online PR News – 31-December-2020 – New Delhi – IRCC conducted its latest express entry draw issuing a total of 5,000 invitations to the candidates who submitted their application under any of the three economic immigration categories of express entry. The three economic immigration categories under the express entry are:

• Federal skilled workers Program
• Federal skilled trades Program
• Canadian experience class

In order to apply under any of the streams of the express entry, a candidate is required to meet the 67 points criteria. The CRS cut-off released in the latest express entry draw is 468 which is one less than the previous CRS cut-off released on December 9, 2020. 2020 comes to an end with a bang as the CRS cut-off released by the IRCC is 468. This year is a record-breaking as the number of invitations reached 107,350.

In the latest express entry draw, a tie-breaking rule was applied. According to this rule, the candidates who had a CRS cut-off score of 468 or more needed to have submitted their express entry profiles prior to June 4, 2020 at 13:39:44 UTC in order to receive an invitation from the IRCC to apply for Canada’s permanent residence. If more than one candidate is having the lowest score of 468, then the cut-off will be based upon the date and time they submitted their express entry profiles.

The latest express entry draw is a clear indication that the future is always up in the air, as you can never predict what is going to happen in the next point of time. There has been a consistent increase in the number of invitations issued by the IRCC. With the huge number of ITA’s issued, the CRS cut-off has fallen to 468 points. 2020 has taught that everyone should be positive no matter how deadly the situation is.
