Another Express Entry Draw Issued 5,000 Invitations

IRCC conducted its new Express Entry Draw on December 9, 2020 and invited 5000 candidates who applied under the Express Entry Program.

Online PR News – 11-December-2020 – New Delhi – Canada held its latest Express Entry Draw on December 9, 2020 and issued 5,000 invitations to all the immigration candidates who applied under any of the three economic immigration programs of express entry. The three economic immigration programs under the Canada Express Entry are Federal Skilled Workers Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class. The minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score for the latest express entry round of invitation is clocked at 469.

It is the second time in a row that a CRS score of 469 has been released. The Canada PR Visa will be issued to all the immigration candidates who applied under the express entry program. Despite the ongoing pandemic, it is surprising that the Canadian Government is still conducting draws to issue invitations to the skilled workers and professionals who have the ultimate dream of moving to Canada permanently.

Despite the corona outbreak, this year has set a new record as Canada has invited more than 100,000 invitations to the immigration candidates. Express entry draws typically take place after two weeks, so you can expect the next draw by December 23, 2020. Since the month of September, the entire pattern of the express entry draws has been similar to what it looked prior to the pandemic.

A tie-breaking rule was applied in the latest Express entry draw held by the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) is that the candidates who had a CRS score of 469 or more or applied prior to June 4, 2020 at 22:26:05 UTC received an invitation to apply for Canada’s permanent residence. It is the 169th draw held by the maple country in 2020. So, now the candidates who received an invitation in the latest draw have 60 days-time period to submit their PR application with all the other pertinent documents.
