Mark Spain Real Estate Again Sponsors Nashville Rescue Mission Hunger to Hope Radiothon Fundraiser

Mark Spain Real Estate, located in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, will again be the primary sponsor of Nashville Rescue Mission’s Hunger to Hope Radiothon.

Online PR News – 20-November-2020 – Nashville, TN – The Nashville Rescue Mission's fundraising goal is to raise money in 14 hours to serve over 44,000 meals. The Hunger to Hope Radiothon event will take place Monday, November 23, 2020, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST on SuperTalk 99.7 WTN. The Nashville radio station will broadcast live from the Nashville Rescue Mission, located in the old Sears building on Lafayette Street and 7th.

“With so many families hurting during this pandemic, there has never been a more important time to give back to the communities we serve,” said Chairman and CEO Mark Spain. “One of our core values at Mark Spain Real Estate is to lead with a servant’s heart, and the Nashville Rescue Mission provides so many excellent services and necessities to Nashville residents in need, which aligns with our values.”

The Nashville Rescue Mission is a faith-based organization making a profound difference to the area’s homeless men, women and children in all areas of their lives—physical and emotional needs, spiritual growth, education, employment and life recovery. In 2019, alone, the Nashville Rescue Mission served 569,501 meals and provided 268,050 nights of shelter.

Founded in 1954, the Nashville Rescue Mission has evolved and grown through the decades to better serve the needs of the greater Nashville community. It began by helping men of the community and, in 1968, opened a separate facility to assist women and children. The Nashville Rescue Mission would eventually move its facilities into the downtown area to better serve the homeless population. Its services have expanded to include emergency resources, transitional housing, job training programs, counseling, life skills and Bible classes, as well as help with addiction and other life-debilitating issues.

The Nashville Rescue Mission estimates providing a single meal costs $2.26. For less than a $10 donation, a family of four can have a hot meal. Its goal is to raise enough funding during the 14-hour Radiothon to serve over 44,000 meals. It has partnered with SuperTalk 99.7 WTN to host the 14-hour, on air fundraising event. Mark Spain Real Estate Director of Sales for the Nashville region, Brett Huelsman, will make appearances during the 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. hours of the Radiothon.

Mark Spain Real Estate’s greater Nashville office is located in Franklin at 3401 Mallory Lane. With sales growth of more than 600 percent in greater Nashville for 2019, Mark Spain Real Estate continues to actively expand its local real estate team. It now has over 25 real agents, most of whom are also metro Nashville natives, and is still growing.

Anyone who wishes to give to this worthy cause may do so by calling in during the show or by going online to donate at Tune into the Radiothon on November 23rd at WTN 99.7 or by listening online at
