Technology marketplace platform CloudInsyte announces the purchase of software as a service platform company Lift Bridge Inc. for an undisclosed price.

Online PR News – 09-November-2020 – Buffalo, NY – CloudInsyte announces the purchase of a software-as-a-service platform company, Lift Bridge Inc., for an undisclosed price. CloudInsyte provides an online marketplace that removes the inefficiency and inaccuracy of traditional technology procurement cycles, enabling a more efficient way for companies to accurately compare and select the right technologies and service providers by leveraging an unbiased, data-driven process.

In acquiring Lift Bridge, CloudInsyte will gain a software platform that will be repurposed and utilized in their premium, as well as expertise to add to the CloudInsyte team that has doubled since last year. CloudInsyte CEO Josh Ferry answered why CloudInsyte made this decision. "IT organizations are frustrated with the current way they procure technology solutions. It is difficult to compare options and understand whether the solution meets their operational or regulatory requirements. Rather than speak to traditional salespeople, IT teams want self-service solutions that enable a more efficient, accurate approach to compare technical capabilities based on unbiased data. CloudInsyte has seen robust demand and has commitments to roll out major new capabilities in the first half of 2021. We needed to make build-vs-buy decisions ourselves to enable certain features. The Lift Bridge acquisition was a result of that analysis and brings with it a very talented team and leader in Greg Ross.”

Through the acquisition, Lift Bridge co-founder and CEO, Greg Ross, will be joining the CloudInsyte team in a senior role. Prior to founding Lift Bridge, Greg was responsible for managing the Central Canada and Ohio Valley regions for Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.
