Online PR News – 07-October-2020 – Farmingdale, NY – TRUTH: “The body of real things, events, and facts...the body of true statements and propositions…sincerity in action, character, and utterance” - Merriam-Webster Dictionary
In today’s world, TRUTH can seem like its own endangered species, threatened in every direction we turn. From contradicting news outlets, to divisive social media feeds, finding TRUTH has become an increasingly herculean task. So how do we protect, foster and nurture it?
TEDx Farmingdale will aim to take on this rising challenge by hosting its second annual event appropriately titled, “The TRUTH”. Fifteen extraordinary speakers from across the country will be powerfully sharing The TRUTH through their own personal experiences, stories and expertise while shedding light across an array of topics including; education, human rights, artificial intelligence, aging, online shopping and emotional intelligence — to name a few.
Broadcast straight from the LaunchPad Five One Six offices, Two-time TEDx speaker, entrepreneur, Curator and Executive Producer of the event, George Andriopoulos is determined to safely bring this important event to his hometown of Farmingdale and beyond. “After our inaugural event in 2019 focused on ‘Fixing the World', it was a very organic progression to focus 2020’s event on ‘The Truth’ and how it plays into fixing the world. I am proud to showcase these 15 speakers on our stage and even prouder to represent my hometown of Farmingdale in such an inspiring light.”
