Sofitel Manila joins the digital world in celebrating the annual Social Media Day by hosting an exciting week-long festivity to treat loyal fans and followers!

This year’s event highlights a photo competition that will run from the 26th until the 30th of June 2014 via www.fb.com/sofitelmanila entitled “Selfie for a Cause: A #SofitelSMDay Advocacy”. Inspired by the overwhelming result of the #SOFITELSMDAY 2013 celebration, the campaign advocates responsible use of social media in the Philippines. To join, participants must post/submit a selfie or a self-portrait photograph and a social media resolution (e.g. “I will think first before I click”) along with the hashtag #SofitelSMDay via a specific post which can be found on Sofitel Manila’s official Facebook timeline. Three winners will be selected internally by Sofitel Manila executives using the following criteria - substance, originality and creativity. One grand prize winner and two lucky participants to win minor prizes will be announced on the 1st of July 2014. The grand prize winner will get the chance to enjoy a luxurious “Social Media Day at Sofitel” package which includes an overnight accommodation for two (2) in a Superior Room, pampering beauty treatments at Vietura, wellness retreat at Le Spa, buffet breakfast for two (2) at Spiral, an exclusive access to SoFit, Sofitel’s state-of-the-art fitness facility and a “social media butler” who will create a social media diary documenting the grand prize winner’s luxury stay at the hotel. As for the minor prizes, lunch buffet for two (2) at Spiral GC will be given to each of the winners.
