(August 26, 2009) – miller heiman announces a partnership with Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE), professional fraternal organization in sales, marketing, and management. Through this arrangement, Miller Heiman will become the methodology of record for the PSE Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon nationwide sales competitions during the fall of 2009.
“We are excited to work with Pi Sigma Epsilon to provide this very practical sales experience for students,” said Elizabeth Vanneste, chief marketing officer for Miller Heiman. “This partnership offers a great way for students to engage one-on-one with professionals and become familiar with the way World-Class Sales Organizations approach sales.”
Students involved in the program will leverage Miller Heiman methodologies to compete in a year-long sales challenge designed to mirror an actual complex selling environment. Finalists from six regional competitions advance to the PSE national convention where they will compete for a scholarship award sponsored by Miller Heiman.
“We recently collaborated with Miller Heiman to re-work the competition,” said Ann Devine, executive director for PSE. “Instead of focusing solely on the sales call, it now addresses the complete sales process.”

•November 7, 2009 -- University of Louisiana Monroe, Monroe, LA and Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
•November 14, 2009 -- Appalachian State University, Boone, NC and Arizona State University, Phoenix, AZ
•November 21, 2009 -- University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY
