Inspiration by Christopher. M
Christopher M., a Bangalore based professional Art Director was born in 1962 in Palakkad, Kerala is a self taught artist. As a young school boy, he paid more attention to letters, pencil sketches, water colors and illustrations than studies! Later he moved to dabbling in oil paintings on canvas. Working with technology became a necessity in the advertising profession, and as a blessing in disguise, this eventually led to him being drawn into the extraordinary world of digital art.
Through his exhibition 'Inspiration', he introduces you to a new world of art - Digital Art. Digital Art is a happy marriage between art, as we all know it, and technology by way of computers. Simply put, it is art where the brush and conventional paints are replaced by the ubiquitous computer mouse!
God Bless by Bharat Singh
Bharat Singh is a self-taught artist. Painting for Bharat Singh is more than life itself. Painting is a passion for Bharat who, since childhood has developed himself as a portrait painter. 'God Bless' is his third exhibition of portrait paintings, and his 1st one at the Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery. Apart from the portrait paintings, he also does other subjective or objective paintings, but his prime interest lies in portrait paintings.
His note on this exhibition:
"Human beings are created not only to fulfil material needs, but also to search their spiritual needs. My favourite medium is portraits, so it's my practice to paint portraits of 'Realized' or 'Liberated' personalities helping me for travelling into my spiritual journey. Thus I select Jesus for this exhibition."
The exhibition of paintings will be held at the Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery from the 23rd to 28th June, 2014 and from 30th June to 5th July, 2014 respectively.
