Remember the good old childhood days when we fought for the seeds of mangoes
Online PR News – 04-June-2014 – Mumbai – Remember the good old childhood days when we fought for the seeds of mangoes, after eating the last square millimeter of flesh, to rub the seed on a rough surface to create a whole, and then magically the seed of a mango would transform into a musical flute like instrument! Well, we may not do that anymore, but we certainly enjoy eating the fruit just as much. With the European Union ban on mangoes this year, we just have plenty more of this prized possession!
Aam ke saath sab kuch khaas ho hi jata hain, so this mango season we bring to you, the king of fruits in a never seen before avatar. Weeks of deliberation, kitchen experiments and loads of mangoes later, we present you, a finely drafted, special menu with the goodness of mango in each recipe and each bite! Cool off with a refreshing traditional Aam ka Panna or experiment with a Gudamba, a mango mocktail specially designed for this menu. Try out our desi spin on a Waldorf Salad with mangoes or tuck into the Aam chi Murgh, which is boneless chicken pieces marinated in a sweet and sour mango marinade, finished off in the tandoor. If you are a vegetarian, there is absolutely no cause for worry; for vegetarian recipes on our menu are plenty. A starter made with sautéed green gram with grated raw mango, mashed and blended with a divine masala mix and skewered should actually be called heaven on a plate, but we decided to call it Hare Chane aur Aam ka Seekh instead.
All our recipes are designed to blow your mind! But make sure you leave some space for dessert, because you certainly don’t want to miss our chef’s special Green Mango Kulfi, amongst other equally tempting options.
