International Business and Investment Enabling Consortium Bridges International Divide

Online PR News – 30-May-2014 – Washington D.C. and Beijing, China – Beijing and Washington, D.C. - The leadership of several leading Chinese and Sino-American business and investment entities have joined in the formation of a collaborating consortium, Dao Ventures, that will more effectively address the sourcing, financing and enabling of cross-border business development, technology transfer and joint venture efforts of Small and Medium-sized (SME) Enterprises from within China, the United States, and Israel to start with.

This new international initiative, which was initiated by ACBridge Global Advisors, a Sino-U.S. advisory firm specializing primarily in the TMT (telecom, media and technology) and environmental sectors, will also involve ACBridge Global Advisor’s Beijing-based sister company, ACBridge Capital Advisors and their affiliate company, China Impact Fund (CIF), both of whom have collaborated in supporting and financing Chinese SMEs who are providing environmentally friendly products and services.
“The key to the success of the Dao Ventures consortium will be in our ability to reach out to Chinese, American and Israeli SMEs who are seeking expansion into international greenfield markets but do not have the resources, connections, and understanding to do it properly. Dao Ventures will provide a customized and focused solution working closely with our existing clients as well as a host of collaborating Chinese and U.S. investment associates and advisors in this regard,” said Mark Marangella, Co-Managing Director of ACBridge Global Advisors.

Dao Ventures will be a consortium and brand encompassing ACBridge Global Advisors, ACBridge Capital Advisors, China Impact Fund (CIF), and a venture accelerator focused on providing pro-bono capacity building services to Chinese, American and Israeli SMEs looking at international business expansion opportunities.

“From an investment standpoint, Dao Ventures plans to expand its focus to include international candidates through the formation of the China Impact Fund International (CIFI), which will invest in and support cross-border partnerships between China and international SMEs,” said Tao Zhang, Co-Managing Director of ACBridge Global Advisors. Tao is also Founder of CIF, China's first impact investing entity focused on financing and supporting the country’s environmental and social SMEs.
