Online PR News – 31-May-2014 – ALBION, Michigan – The Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau will hold the 44th Annual Chamber Golf Outing on Tuesday, June 17th, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm EDT at the Duck Lake Country Club in Albion, Michigan. This year marks the return to a traditional scramble game, which will begin at 12:30, preceded by a lunch, courtesy of Homestead Savings Bank.
Following the day of golfing, athletes will enjoy dinner, overlooking the golf course in the Duck Lake dining room. While dinner is included in the price of registration, those interested in eating only may register for a “dinner only” admission. Dinner will begin at around 5:00pm with cocktails (cash bar) in the Duck Lake bar.
Once again, College Chevrolet Buick will be offering a new car to any contestant who gets a hole-in-one on the seventh hole during the day of golf. In addition, golfers can win several other prizes on and off the golf course.
Teams of four may be all men, all women, or any combination. Every two players will be equipped with a golf cart; they will either need to provide their own or register to rent one. The cost is $90/person with cart rental, $75/person without cart rental, or $30/person just for dinner. Those who do not have enough teammates to make a four-person team can register, and the Chamber will create a team of four.
