Online PR News – 30-May-2014 – Queensland/Australia – The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has recently announced a news for nationals of the Philippines. As per the announcement, Philippines ordinary passport holders who have a valid visa or residence permit of any of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) or Schengen countries may now apply for a Turkey E Visa online, if they are intended to enter Turkey as a tourist.
This news was made public by the Agency’s Facebook Page, where it is mentioned that interested applicants can obtain their visa without wasting much time by simply providing required information online and making the payments. Visa fees can be paid online by using valid credit cards.
As soon as the applicant will entirely complete the form and submit it along with the required processing fees, online, e-Visa will be e-mailed to the applicant in 24 hours. Thereafter, the applicant can proceed with his journey by taking out the print out of the email and submitting it to the airport and customs officials at the Turkish border gates and carry it with them at all times during their travel.
E-Visas are only valid for tourism or trade purposes, for any other type of visa; applicants are requested to contact their nearby Turkish Embassies or Consulates.
The main reason behind easing the visa procedure for Philippines nationals visiting Turkey is to strengthen the tourism and trade relationship between both the countries.
