Online PR News – 21-May-2014 – USA – U.S. researchers will soon benefit from even greater competition in the domestic microscope manufacture and distribution market.
Microscope and research accessory distributor Advanced Image Concepts just announced that their Huvitz HDS-5800 The world’s first large range of magnification Zoom Microscope will be made available in the United States.
The HDS-5800 takes 2D topographic images and composes them into 3D profiles for analyzing surface information. The analyses are conducted using the company’s Panasis research software.
In keeping with industry standards, the fully-calibrated instrument is metallurgical and contains a Z-axis Focus-Module, which features a motor resolution that can expand up to 0.01 um. There is an extraordinary range from 50X to 5,800X. It converts the wide range (50X~5,800X) without lens change for user’s convenience.
High speed image acquisition and processing
The days of waiting for extended periods for image analysis functions to be completed are over.
The HDS system integrates optical functions, digital image and image processing and analysis into a highly efficient system. Even as the initial images are displayed, the image processing is commencing to provide high volume output. Huvitz's combination of technologies maximizes convenience and efficiency of measurement and results reporting
The Huvitz HDS-5800 is one of several microscope models and digital research tools that AIC has recently made available in the United States. The instruments offer science, university, and industrial researchers a competitive alternative to well-known brands like Keyence or Hirox. In the long run, this can help to drive down research costs and broaden access to revolutionary digital tools for use in scientific studies.
