AccelerateNFC™ Mentor program graduates to speak at 5th Annual Auto-ID & Sensing Solutions Expo panel on Reinventing Proximity, May 7, 2014

Online PR News – 06-May-2014 – Dallas, Texas – OTA Ventures today announced its inaugural AccelerateNFC™ seed accelerator graduates will be speaking at the 5th Annual Auto-ID & Sensing Solutions Expo in Boston, on May 7, 2014.

Ryan N. Morrison, CEO of True Mileage, and Michael Thompson, Founder and President of inProximity LLC, will be featured panelists on Reinventing Proximity. This panel discussion will revolve around innovative applications of proximity-based data exchange technologies - such as near field communication (NFC) and Bluetooth low energy (BLE) - in areas other than mobile payments. The panelists will demonstrate sample applications and the audience will be invited to participate in an informal demo contest. The discussion is expected to focus primarily on how such applications facilitate connecting physical presence with virtual content.

The AccelerateNFC program, which began on January 21, 2014, includes intense training on entrepreneur goals, product development and market sizing, research and development, channel strategies and sales, marketing, and operational requirements for running a successful business.
