Local IT Expert To Release New Book To Help Business Owners Increase Productivity, Profits And Security Through Smarter IT

That’s why Cathy Szymanski, Director of WOW, of Szymanski Consulting, Inc, has joined a select group of North America’s leading I.T. experts to co-write the forthcoming book, The Business Owners Guide To I.T. and All Things Digital: 22 Critical Facts Every Business Must Know To Maximize Their Company’s Efficiency, Security, Employee Productivity And Profits.

Cathy Szymanski is the Director of WOW of Szymanski Consulting, Inc. based in Erie, PA. For more than 20 years, Cathy Szymanski has specialized in developing Customer Service for local companies. It is through Cathy Szymanski’s unique way of approaching business challenges that has contributed to much of her success, and one of the reasons she was asked to participate in the upcoming book.

While the book focuses on various topics within I.T. and all things digital, Cathy’s specific chapter is titled “Customer Service.” According to Cathy, her chapter focus on the importance of customer service in all business interactions.

After six years in the Army and Army Reserves, Cathy moved to Erie to attend school, fell in love with Erie, Pennsylvania, and knew it was where she wanted to stay. After graduation, she got a job as the Service Manager at GTE Mobilnet, which is now Verizon Wireless.

She and her husband David met at GTE Mobilnet and married 18 months later. Although she loved her job, helping David at Szymanski Consulting was an offer she just could not refuse. Her title is the Director of WOW, and her job is to make sure that each customer experience is a WOW experience.

“Our philosophy is simple, we treat others as we would like to be treated. This philosophy has allowed our company to grow and prosper with long-term customers,” remarked Cathy. “We are not looking for quick sales, we are building long-term relationships.”

The authors of The Business Owners Guide To I.T. and All Things Digital, have extensive experience and background related to the epic changes that today’s digital world has affected each of us, and more specifically, how it has moved us to a higher level of specialization and efficiency, while at the same time allowing us a laser-focus on our activities. Cathy Szymanski, as well as her 21 co-authors, are some of the top minds within the I.T. industry, all of whom are currently serving small to midsize businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The royalties from this project will be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a not-for -profit organization, internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with pediatric cancer.
