Coventry’s Rapide Communication was honoured in the 2008 awards where it was named Best Innovative Service for ‘Rant and Rave’ and was also awarded the ICT Excellence Overall Champion.

The free to enter IT awards recognise top technology companies for outstanding achievements to the industry. The winners will be announced at the evening ICT Excellence Awards event following the annual ICT Conference on 10th November 2009, which is being held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Bickenhill, Solihull.

Categories in this year's awards are the ICT Excellence Award for Best Innovative Product, Best Innovative Service, Best Added Value Product, Best Added Value Service, Best Added Value Project, Best Knowledge Transfer Project and Most Improved Business. An overall champion will be selected from the winners of each of the seven categories and receive a cheque for £2,000.

An additional award, the Technology Strategy Board’s Special Award for High Growth Potential Business 2009 is also being introduced this year.

IT Award nominations for all categories must be submitted by 12 noon on Monday 28th September.
