FinanceAsia Travel Poll is one of the annual polls conducted by FinanceAsia - a Hong Kong based magazine launched in 1996 that publishes an array of regular and special features providing unique insights into Asia’s financial markets for corporations, governments, banks, investors and financial intermediaries. This award aims to determine the top hotels and airlines in the region.
The 10th Tourism Festival, organised by the HCMC Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was recently held in conjunction withtourism-related companies in HoChi MinhCity. The purpose of the event was to discuss the quality of the tourism industry, to honour prestigious travel brands and to set up consumer crowd voting, where consumers voted for their favourite brands. This programme has made a remarkable impact on improving the quality and professionalism of the hospitality industry and product diversification, thus creating an attractive tourism market for travellers and tourists.The ceremony, held on 27th March 2014, recognised more than 100 companies that have done an excellent job in achieving great results in 2013, and who have also gained the trust and votes from the consumers.
