North Carolina DOT approves contractor to Install Micro Piles and CFA Piles

The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation (DOT) has approved American Deep Foundation, Inc. as a prequalified contractor for the installation of micro piles and continuous flight auger piles.

Online PR News – 27-March-2014 – Bolton, NC – The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation (DOT) has again approved American Deep Foundation, Inc. as a prequalified contractor for the installation of drilled micro piles and continuous flight auger piles (CFA piles), also known as auger cast piles. Micro piles typically range from 3 inches to 12 inches in diameter with lengths to well over 100 feet and capacities to 300 tons or above. ADF installs CFA piles typically 12 inches to 36 inches in diameter with lengths up to and in excess of 100 feet. Capacities typically range from 30 to 150 tons.

This micro piles and CFA prequalification is required by the North Carolina Department of Transportation for anyone bidding and installing these types of piles on a DOT project, in order to regulate state funded work.
