Crochetville.org Sponsors Etimo Crochet Hook Giveaway
07/19/2010

The Internet's most popular message board community for crochet enthusiasts sponsors an Etimo crochet hook giveaway.

Online PR News – 19-July-2010 – – Harvest, AL – July 15, 2010 – Crochetville.org is sponsoring an Etimo crochet hook giveaway from Monday, July 12 through Monday, July 19, at noon CDT.
Tulip Company, Ltd., a Japanese company (http://www.tulip-japan.co.jp), is now making their line of crochet hooks available in the United States. Caron International yarn company (www.caron.com) will be the US distributor for this line of crochet hooks.

Tulip’s Etimo line of crochet hooks comes in both steel and aluminum. Tulip offers both single- and double-ended hooks as well as hooks with an elastomer comfort grip. The hooks are also offered in kits along with a hook case, scissors, yarn needles, and a ruler. All hooks feature a sharp and gently curved head and are polished to a super-smooth finish.

In a review at Crochetville (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=116808), Amy Shelton said: “This Etimo hook slid through the yarn like butter. I have never experienced an aluminum hook that is so smooth and slippery, with absolutely no drag of any kind at all. Best of all, no matter how fast I worked, the hook didn't split the yarn at all!”

Thanks to a generous donation of Etimo hooks by Caron International, Crochetville.com is sponsoring an Etimo hook giveaway contest. Entries will be accepted through noon CDT on Monday, July 19. The contest is free to enter and requires only creating a free user account at Crochetville and posting a message in the contest thread (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=116837). Each registered Crochetville member may submit only one entry. Winners will be selected by a random drawing. All contest rules may be found in the contest thread (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=116837). Within 48 hours of the contest opening, over 200 entries had been received and the contest thread had been viewed over 1,500 times.

Accredited media interested in discussing this release in more detail are encouraged to contact Amy Shelton at amyshelton@crochetville.org to schedule an interview.
