The Game Farm Opens April 12
Online PR News – 21-March-2014 – Manorville, NY – (Manorville, NY) — On April 12, the Long Island Game Farm — Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo will be opening for its 45th season of providing Long Island students and families with a wide array of animals, education, and most of all — fun. From April to September, the Game Farm will be open on different days of the week for children and adults to explore. In celebration of its 45th season, the Game Farm will be offering coupons on its Facebook page and website for $4.50 off a regular ticket price valid for the opening weekend.
From domestic to exotic animals, the Long Island Game Farm has so much to offer, all while providing an outdoor educational experience. Unlike many other zoos, children get a one-of-a-kind experience at the Game Farm, where they are encouraged to engage and feed countless animals by petting, holding, and bottle-feeding. There are even special areas within the farm, including popular “Bambiland,” where children get up close and personal with deer; and “Old MacDonald’s Farm,” where children get a glimpse of life on an actual farm with pigs and chickens. For almost half a century, children have been leaving the Game Farm with acquired knowledge and a smile from ear to ear.
Opening Day — Saturday, April 12th — coincides with the start of many Long Island schools’ spring break. The Game Farm will be open the entire break (ending on April 20) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Then, the Game Farm will reopen the next weekend, April 26 and 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well. Beginning in May, the Long Island Game Farm will be open Thursday through Sunday. Beginning May 22, the Game Farm will be open seven days per week.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating our 45th year at the Game Farm,” says Diane Novak, Co-Owner and President of the Long Island Game Farm. “We hope to provide another 45 years worth of memories, education, and fun for students and families alike.”
