Sai Retina Foundation is observing Glaucoma Awareness Day on March 28/03/2014

The Awareness is to impart people knowledge about glaucoma which is still untapped area for many opthalmologists

Online PR News – 19-March-2014 – delhi, Delhi/NCR: March 28, 2014 – Sai Retina Foundation will hold an event to mark awareness on Glaucoma on March 28, 2014 along with free eye screening camp from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at F-5 Dilshad Colony Main Road, near Mrignayani Chowk, Delhi. The event, will take place at its base centre, with the purpose to familiarize people with this eye disorder and further, the precautions that may be taken so that Glaucoma cannot snatch the sight.

During the event, patients will have complete eye check-up in the Mobile Retina Van with state-of-the-art equipment. Free blood sugar and blood pressure check-up is mandatory along with complete eye check up. After screening, if the patients are found to have glaucoma, they will be subjected to further treatment. The screened patients will then be enlightened about Glaucoma through a presentation by an expert.

People who want to enhance their knowledge are surely welcome to the event. It is advised that people who want to get themselves tested should be accompanied by somebody. The eyes are precious and should not be neglected till it's too late.
