Michael Kropp Overcomes Downsizing and Recession to Realize Dream

After a layoff in the telecommunications industry in early 2008, then a downturn in the economy, Michael Kropp has still been able to fulfill his dream of being a full time musician.

Online PR News – 16-March-2009 – – Michael Kropp of Limerick, PA hasn’t let being laid-off in February of 2008 and the bad economy stop him from pursuing his dream job. Michael Kropp now makes a living and helps to support his family as a full-time musician, playing guitar and singing in a variety of clubs, bars and events in the Delaware Valley.

Ever since starting his first band in high school, Mike has been performing. In 1999 while working days in the telecommunications industry, he formed The Kroppdusters with band members: Dan O'Brien and Ryan Fenton. The band enjoyed seven years of success before disbanding in 2006. Mike continued on as a solo act

Along with his busy solo career, Mr. Kropp currently works part-time as a teacher at Makin’ Music Rockin’ Rhythms in King of Prussia, but will be opening his own locations in Gilbertsville and Pottstown at the end of this month.

Open House at the Gilbertsville location will be on March 24 from 10-11:30 am with a Grand Opening date of March 31 at Tri-County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Road, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Open House at the Pottstown location will be on March 25 from 10-11:30 am with a Grand Opening date of April 1 at Coventry Church of the Brethren, 946 Keen Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
