Solihull’s sales-i was honoured in the 2008 awards where it was named Best Added Value Service for its sales support service. sales-i markets its service into the Office Products, Automotive and Building Supplies Industry in the UK and USA. sales-i has enjoyed significant sales growth in the US in recent months, attracting customers including Write Now Office Products, Chicago Office Products Company and SunDANCE Office Supply.

Some key UK customers include Sykes Pickavant, Yuasa Batteries, Alexander Dennis and office products suppliers including Langstane Press, DG Office Supplies and Harts Office Solutions. sales-i is a sales support service that helps companies to improve their sales, planning and marketing activities by collecting appropriate information to make these processes easier and more effective.

The free to enter awards recognise top technology companies for outstanding achievements to the industry. The winners will be announced at the evening ICT Awards event following the annual ICT Conference on 10th November 2009, which is being held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Bickenhill, Solihull.

Categories in the 2009 IT awards are the ICT Excellence Award for Best Innovative Product, Best Innovative Service, Best Added Value Product, Best Added Value Service, Best Added Value Project, Best Knowledge Transfer Project and Most Improved Business. An overall champion will be selected from the winners of each of the seven categories and receive a cheque for £2,000. An additional award, the Technology Strategy Board’s Special Award for High Growth Potential Business 2009 is also being introduced this year.

Nominations for all categories must be submitted by 12 noon on Monday 28th September.
