Online PR News – 20-August-2009 – – NS Optimum is urging local technology companies to follow in its footsteps and enter the 5th ICT Excellence Awards sponsored by the Advantage West Midlands ICT Cluster. The IT awards honour the best technology companies region wide, and with an abundance of local talent in Leamington Spa and Warwickshire, the area has a good chance of success.
NS Optimum was honoured in the 2008 awards where it received the Chair’s Award for Corporate Social Responsibility and was also Highly Commended in the Best Added Value Private Sector Project category. NS Optimum has a formidable list of clients including Princethorpe College, Bromsgrove School, Royal Grammar School (High Wycombe), Piggot School (Reading), Sharples School (Bolton), Uppingham School, Harrow School, Sedbergh School and Ampleforth College.
NS Optimum is a total ICT solutions provider for schools and small businesses, this ranges from the assembly of branded PCs and servers to data and fibre cabling, audio visual installations, voice over IP (VOIP) telephone systems, IP security systems, maintenance and managed service offerings. The company is an Intel Channel Partner Premier Member, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and an ADC Krone approved Data and Blown fibre installer.
Gavin Rose, Director at NS Optimum, encourages local companies to enter: “There is no doubt that these technology awards help lift a company’s profile and in a lot of ways differentiate you from your competitors. I would strongly recommend any company to review whether they could enter an awards category as the recognition to the staff of their efforts is often taken for granted by companies and this process certainly gave our staff a big lift. They were rightly proud of the project and it was rewarding for them to see other people recognise that effort.”
“The awards were a fantastic morale boost for the staff who had put a huge amount of effort into the project. It was also very positive on the customer side: those customers who were involved via the equipment they donated took pride in the recognition the award gave to their contribution.”
The free to enter awards recognise top technology companies for outstanding achievements to the industry. The winners will be announced at the evening ICT Excellence Awards event following the annual ICT Conference on 10th November 2009, which is being held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Bickenhill, Solihull.
