Following the success of preliminary IPR Rights Magazines for the Frankfurt World Book Fair and New Delhi World Book Fair, IPR License has announced the addition of three further editions to its 2014 calendar
Online PR News – 28-February-2014 – London – Following the success of preliminary IPR Rights Magazines for the Frankfurt World Book Fair and New Delhi World Book Fair, IPR License has announced the addition of three further editions to its 2014 calendar to include the London Book Fair, BookExpo America and the Beijing International Book Fair.
The aim of the magazine is to generate rights business for IPR License Members and promote the work of rights-sellers to potential rights-buyers.
The IPR Rights Magazine showcases book titles from up to 50 authors, featuring a full description of the book, a cover image and the rights available for rights-buyers to purchase. It also features a publisher profile, an author profile, a news section plus articles including a global market focus.
Colour print copies of the magazine are distributed in the Rights Centre of each book fair. Digital copies of the magazine can also be downloaded for free from the IPR License website www.iprlicense.com
The magazine information also features on a Global Bulletin sent to over 50,000 publishers in over 90 countries.
Libby Whitehouse, Partnerships Manager at IPR License, commented:
“Despite being arguably the most important marketplace for rights and licensing, authors have long been under-represented at high profile events such as international book fairs. And this has become increasingly clear from the overwhelming response we’ve had since launching the IPR License Rights Magazine.
“As such we are extended the print cycle of the magazine to incorporate five of the largest international book fairs to help more members showcase their work to an even wider audience of industry professionals and help bridge this gap.”
