Music Publisher Announces Innovative New Feature

A Recently-Founded Music Publishing Company is Making Available on its Website a Series of Podcasts in which Leading Latin American Composers Talk about Their Careers, their Music and the Music of their Home Countries.

Online PR News – 23-February-2014 – Blacksburg, VA – Blacksburg, VA: Today, Cayambis Music Press, a music publishing company specializing in classical sheet music from Latin America, announces the inauguration of an innovative new feature on its company website. Under the banner, “Latin American Voices,” the company is making available a series of podcasts in which leading Latin American composers talk about their careers, their music and the music of their home countries.

Although these interviews are designed to educate and enlighten North American audiences about an under represented segment of the classical sheet music market, they are becoming useful in unpredictable ways. One of the first composers to be interviewed said, “Since being interviewed for Latin American Voices, I’ve seen much more interest in my own professional website. I owe Cayambis Music Press for helping my music become better known in the world.”

Conducted in English, the company plans on adding many more of these podcasts to its website until at least one composer from every single region and country of Latin America has been interviewed. When asked about the reason for undertaking this project, business owner John Walker said, “By letting people hear these composers speak passionately about their music and also to hear them speak so intelligently, we are happy to do our small part in contributing to their success.”
