Honda Reveal Concept For New Compact Crossover

While many people look to Honda to provide the reliable range of cars, a great number of people will be visiting the Honda dealers and advertisements to get a look at the new concept for their compact crossover model.

Online PR News – 23-February-2014 – Melville WA – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The new concept design was revealed by Honda, just a short time after the release of the Vezel small SUV model into the Japanese market. The Vezel is based upon the concept design of the Urban SUV and has been well received in the market place according to corporate data and feedback from Honda dealers. However, this new concept, which has been dubbed the Vision XS-1 has been created to be strictly seen as a “creative study model”. It was unveiled at the Auto Expo in Delhi in order to showcase the “exciting H design” new language Honda has created, which has been commented as “human centred” style of philosophy.

The XS-1 has stylistic touches which could be seen as crossing over into production models. The aesthetic touches would easily be at home on the existing Honda range, cultivating the unique Honda look. However, it is unlikely that you will see the pillar less framework and oversized long door when you visit your Honda dealer in the future.

The XS-1 has the appearance of petite dimensions, yet features three seating rows including regular bucket seats in the front and two sets of bench seating in the rear. The details of the power train for the XS-1 has not been announced, although the model does feature a flat floor, which suggests an electric motor.

Although, this concept will not be going into production, it will be interesting to see how the “exciting H design” will influence the Honda models in the near future.
