Online PR News – 30-January-2014 – Agoura Hills, California – Rich Greenwood, Director of Instruction at Tour Golf in Agoura Hills, California talks about the importance of keeping track of the player’s stats to effectively analyze their game.
Rich posted a video on YouTube and RichGreenwoodgolf.com detailing the effectiveness of a shot analysis system called Shot Tracker. Shot Tracker allows players to record their scores shot by shot. Rich states, “Tracking each shot is a very important component to analyzing and improving a player’s game”. Shot Tracker has 120 statistics analyzed. Rich believes, “Shot Tracker can’t help but make any player succeed”. The player enters their information while they play. Rich says, “It is a great snapshot of my students game and enables me to find out where the student is really losing their strokes. We will get a better idea of the student’s strengths and weaknesses in their game”.
Shot Tracker keeps track of Tee shot, Fairway (left, right or on), Directional Approach (left, right, short, far), Chipping, Pitching, Sand Traps, Up and Downs, Number of Putts, Distance of Made Putts, Total Score along with 10,000 plus golf courses included in the software. Rich feels, “The pros on the PGA Tour have access to their stats to improve or tweak their games why shouldn’t the average player have the same access”. The player now has the ability to track their progress per course, per par and per hole.
