New member for Irish Timber Frame Industry Body
Online PR News – 09-July-2010 – – Manley Timber Frame of Duleek, Co. Meath is the latest timber frame manufacturer to join the Irish Timber Frame Manufacturers Association (ITFMA).
“We are delighted to welcome Manley Timber Frame as a member”, said Association Manager Philip Mahony when he presented the company with its membership certificate. “Achieving membership demonstrates an ongoing commitment to professionalism and quality of manufacture and sends a clear message to Meath and Louth consumers that this is a timber frame supplier prepared to stand over its product.”
“In spite of the current downturn timber frame’s role in helping to achieve the governments’ energy efficiency and Co2 reduction targets has grown in importance,” said company director Damien Manley. “Our aim is to supply our customers with the most energy efficient homes possible and our ITFMA membership gives us access to the necessary knowledge and training to make this happen.”
Founded in 1991, the ITFMA is the representative association for the Irish timber frame industry. Its members are all quality-approved by the National Standards Authority in Ireland (NSAI) under the Authority’s rigorous Timber Frame Manufacturers’ Certification Scheme. The Association currently has 15 members who between them account for approximately 80 per cent of the market.
