The use of metal meshes as transparent conductors has increased in the past year and NanoMarkets believes that the technology will continue to gain market share. The greatest opportunity today is in touch screen display sensors, but the firm expects OLED lighting and PV technologies to take on a greater importance toward the end of the forecast period.
